The Gigs 2009 / 10
August 28th, Friday. The Globe Inn, Sampford Peverell, Devon. 8.30pm Free. Just off Junction 27 on M5. This sees the start of a weekend in the Devon and Somerset countryside for the band. I've always been a bit unsure of the countryside what with it being all green and that which gets a bit boring after a while.

August 29th, Saturday. Hewishstock Festival, Crewkerne.
On the A30 Chard road just outside Crewkerne. The festival runs noon 'til late with 8 bands and a DJ. Bill Smarme & The Bizness are on at 6.30pm. Tickets £20 from Tim on 07970 031050. No dogs. Admission strictly by ticket only. Free camping, bring your own booze, hot food available.
September, Friday 11th - Sunday 13th. Wookey Hole Music Festival. We are playing at 7.30 on the Saturday night.
On Sunday, I will be presenting a workshop "Bill Smarme's Rock School for Beginners". (From pleb to celeb in a stroke). My vast experience as an international entertainer has provided me with a wealth of tips for the aspiring rock god.

October 17th, Saturday. The Queens Head, Box, 8.30 Free. We love this place and its chips.
December 3rd, Thursday 8.30pm. The Beehive, Prospect Hill, Old Town, Swindon. Way out east for a Christmas Special at the only boozer in Swindon for intelligent live music - hang on, what are we doing there?
December 4th, Friday. Bath Christmas Market. Catch us at 4.00pm, 5.00pm, and 6.30pm underneath the archway at Abbey Green courtyard. Buy some mulled wine and chips, then have a taste of Bill Smarme and his merry band of Christmas elves.
December 13th Sunday Lunchtime. The Bell, Walcot Street, Bath. Free. Yes it's time once again for Bill Smarme's Xmas Xtravaganzal. There'll be all kinds of seasonal smarming from me and the band and kazoo shaped mince pies are on the menu. Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without Bill Smarme in yer stocking.

February 8th 2010, Monday. The Two Pigs, Corsham. The Good Pub Guide rates this place as " a wonderfully eccentric pub for fans of beer and music". And we're a wonderfully eccentric band so there!
